For Farm-to-Table recipes, click the above link to redirect to our Pinterest page. Recipes are chosen for superior tastes and flavors, fresh seasonal ingredients, and either: health, kid-friendliness, quick simplicity, Jewishness, authenticity, or pure yumminess. The kid-friendly recipes are also used by our teachers to cook our garden produce with the B'nai Israel Day School kids. A rule of thumb I always follow when using fresh seasonal farm-to-table ingredients is: keep it simple. Fine fresh ingredients are best eaten fresh off the bush and not cooked such as fresh berries in yogurt or on a tart; fresh tomatoes in salsa, or vegetables that are lightly sautéed in order to taste the fresh goodness of the crop.
